Content: This is a brief informative outcome of a continuous conducted
research, informing the public and the world at large, on the origin, existence
and the widespread of Kivenule Clan, jointly compiled by Adam Alphonce
Kivenule, in collaboration with Mr. Ignus Pangayena Kivenule. The research
which, is on the progress has existed for the past 8 years, starting
effectively from 18 December 2005 to date. The research involves a combination
of literature reviews, associated with interviewees which, have been conducted
in different places in Iringa region and beyond, The Union of Kivenule Clan
Annual General Meetings and physical visits in Kidamali, Nzihi, Igowole,
Nyamihuu, Nyamahana, Mangalali, Igangimali, Ilala Simba, Idete, Magubike,
Irore, Igominyi, Lugalo, Nduli, Mgongo, Irambirole, Igowole, Mufindi, Itagutwa
and Kalenga Villages in Iringa; and sometime from Dar es Salaam and Morogoro. The
review of this documented information has been conducted several times for the
purpose of obtaining a justifiable and accurate data that will be valuable at
the end during publishing the book.
Challenges: There are number of challenges encountered during execution of
this tough assignment, including financial constraints which hinder us from
paying visits in remote areas where we can obtain relevance and critical
information which is needed by our a research team. Also, inadequate/few sources
of reliable information are a major problem hinders us because the most
trustworthy elders whom could reveal the genuine information have been
deceased. This result to a continuous review, amendment and correction of the
information for several times for the purpose of clearing queries rose in the
past 8 KAUKI Annual General Meetings. Up to the moment, work done is
satisfactory because we have managed to accomplish 120 A4 pages for our
research proposal, although there are some gaps which have not properly filled.
The gaps encountered will be addressed while working on our research. The gaps,
lack of modern facilities like digital video cameras, laptop computers and
missing information remains as our major obligations to make sure are filled
properly.
Ahead Tasks: Our major duty ahead is to pay visits as many as possible to
libraries, memorial galleries, the GIZ offices, the German and the France
Cultural Centres, which we hope that will help us to explorer potential
information to our research. Finalization of this task is not yet known but we
will continue to produce the already gathered findings for public consumption
in a way that those who will agree to support us will suggest. Our research
team calls on moral, material and financial supports from the like minded
intellectuals, organizations, institutions and individuals who have interest to
our research.
Sincere Thanks: The research team is forwarding her sincere gratitude to Mr.
William Sigatambule Kivenule for his mutual support and cooperation in searching
for potential information and feeding the researchers. Other research
assistants are Mr. Augustino Shaban Kivenule, Mr. Bernard Pangayena Kivenule,
Mr. Christian John Kivenule, Mr. Donald Peter Mhapa and Mr. Innocent Samwel
Kivenule. With thanks, I present.
